Description: As the automotive industry continues to progress towards the path of developing highly connected electric and autonomous vehicles, the need to consider automotive cybersecurity at the design stages is becoming crucial. This is so because the involved technologies introduce a wide variety of attack surfaces that can be used undermine the value of vehicles. This webinar will discuss the following issues that arise when adopting the ?secure by design? concept: threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA), vulnerabilities, cybersecurity controls, post-development activities such as monitoring and incident response, and integration with other automotive frameworks. In addition, OEMs and suppliers need to implement other standards/tools such as functional Safety (ISO 26262), SOTIF (ISO/PAS 21448), Automotive SPICE, and IATF 16949. The webinar will also discuss how cybersecurity can be integrated with ISO 26262, ISO/PAS 21448, and Automotive SPICE and the advantages that this integration entails when performing audits and assessments. In particular, this webinar will detail how the integration of automotive cybersecurity and functional safety can be accomplished using FMEVA (failure modes and effects and vulnerabilities analysis).
