Description: |
In women, chronic pelvic pain refers to pain that lasts for six months or longer in the area below your bellybutton and between hips. If asked to trace pain, women might fail to point to a single spot but sweep their hand over the entire pelvic area. Most of the women may never receive a specific diagnosis that explains their pain. But that doesn't mean their pain isn't real and treatable. If the root of chronic pelvic pain is found, treatment focuses on that cause. If no cause is found, treatment focuses on managing the pain.To know more, join our expert talk on Chronic Pelvic Pain by our Consultant Gynaecological Oncology, Dr. Samar Gupte.
